Aside from the tech books, I pretty much gave all the books 4 stars. Except “In Defense of Food”, which I gave 5. But I wouldn’t say I thought IDoF was the best, so maybe my rating upon completion is fairly pointless. But it is an amazing book that I think everyone should read. Overall, I tend to read somewhat slowly, so when I do read a book, it’s generally already vetted by others or at least a certain level caliber. Not sure I could name a favorite. For the most part, they were all super interesting and I learned quite a bit from each. Delivering Happiness is definitely my favorite of the business books and definitely a must read. Generation Me (summary) and Seen Jane Hit were both really interesting for their topics, though slightly dated at times. Delusions of Gender and Is There Anything Good About Men? were also really interesting and worth reading. The Gifts of Imperfection was the only book I gave to others to read. And then The Alchemist was the only International Best Seller I read because of coming across it 4 times in one day.
